“Victoria is such a wonderful comfort to have at your birth, and pre and postpartum. Her vast knowledge and nurturing spirit helps you feel comfortable and sure in times that feel uncertain, and her tea blends and special tricks help so much with preparing your mind and body. As I had a very fast labor and delivery, (two hours start to finish) she was there for about an hour of it, she claims she didn’t do much, but the pressure on my back, constant encouragement and helping my husband make decisions quickly made him and I feel more confident in our choice to home birth. She took pictures, and generally assisted in what anyone needed. Afterwards she made me a snack, helped the midwives clean up and did general housework. She even left me with yummy postpartum drinks prepared in my fridge. She was such a valuable person in our second pregnancy and birth. She was there throughout my journey to answer any questions I had. Which seemed to be many because this was my first birth all natural, no drugs and no Tylenol, no ibuprofen. Highly recommend Victoria to anyone looking for extra support!”
“I cannot recommend Victoria enough! She is so lovely and gentle and kind. She spoiled us rotten. Treated me with such tenderness and compassion! Aaaaand brought me nourishing (and delicious) food. If you’re expecting or postpartum (or anything else womb related) and in need of a beautiful doula, I hiiiighly suggest checking her out!”
"Victoria was such an amazing support in my pregnancy, birth and continuing into postpartum. She is committed to her clients in a way that still flabbergasts me. She is supportive, caring, and has an abundance of knowledge. I highly recommend her."
"Victoria is worth her weight in gold! She is such a valuable support. Very knowledgeable about nutrition and all things pregnancy and birth. I didn't have a doula with my first and it was such a difference than my most recent pregnancy in which Victoria was by my side. I had so many questions that Victoria answered for me. She also provided tons of resources. Among the resources were some book recommendations as well as documents and ebooks Victoria wrote. The amount of information she provided helped me to feel confident about physiological birth and knowledgeable about anything that could have happened during the birthing process.
I think there must have been a time when knowledge about physiological birth was common place. You could have just asked your mom, sisters, friends, or midwife. Unfortunately it seems like that knowledge has been lost. Most aren't equipped to support women and encourage a nourished and natural pregnancy and birth. Victoria isn't like most though. She is a treasure to mothers in the Okanagan. I can't recommend her services enough."
